Instructor - Steve Taplin

Steve Taplin is a proven star in both the world of real estate investing and business.  He is a self made multi-millionaire who has achieved a high level of success through his dedication to real estate investing and helping others.

Immediately after Steve graduated from college with his first degree in Business, he entered the corporate business world as a Sales Executive at IBM.  Steve quickly rose to the top of his division, and over his tenure at the company, he consistently ranked within the top six in sales performance amongst a sales force that numbered in excess of 350 salespersons.  While being a top sales leader, Steve completed his Masters degree in Business Administration (MBA), with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. Steve's MBA education provided him with the opportunity to become a published author, providing contributions to an Entrepreneurial textbook titled "Entrepreneurship – The Way Ahead", which was released in January of 2004.

After an extremely successful relationship with IBM, Steve realized that the corporate business world was not going to provide him with the opportunity to reach his dreams and goals, and that his path was to enter the entrepreneurial world.

Steve’s initial success as an entrepreneur in real estate investing led him to the opportunity to become the founding President and partner of The Real Market Experts Franchise, Inc.® (RME).  Under Jim Piccolo’s mentorship, Steve led the charge for the company, growing it into a national real estate investment franchise company and licensed real estate brokerage dedicated to providing high quality real estate investment properties to Nouveau Riche Community Members.  Under Steve’s guidance, the Real Market Experts® teams acquired, renovated, financed, tenanted, and managed over 1,500 real estate investment properties and over $160 million worth of real estate over a 4-year period.  

As of December 31, 2006, Steve resigned as President of the Real Market Experts® and became the CEO and Founder of TAPCO Development Group, Inc., a firm focused on developing and building projects that are targeted towards real estate investors. In his new position, Steve continues to work very closely with Jim Piccolo and the Nouveau Riche organization, and is committed to developing thousands of investment properties for the Real Market Experts® teams to deliver to Nouveau Riche Community Members.
